For Frieze Seoul 2026, Meyer Riegger Wolff presents works by Marcel Duchamp, Miriam Cahn, Katinka Bock, Jeewi Lee and Jioong Kang. Spanning painting, sculpture, installation and photography across different generations, the presentation brings distinct artistic practices into relation, allowing each work to be experienced both individually and in relation to the others.

At the heart of the presentation is Marcel Duchamp’s Rotoreliefs (1953), one of the artist’s most celebrated explorations of movement and optical perception. Its presentation at Frieze Seoul takes place alongside Marcel Duchamp: A Parisian Collection, on view at Meyer Riegger Wolff Seoul from 27 August to 5 November 2026.

Across the presentation, Katinka Bock’s sculptures reconsider familiar objects and materials through subtle interventions that alter their balance, function and physical presence, revealing the poetic potential of ceramic, bronze and found elements. Miriam Cahn’s recent paintings transform everyday domestic imagery into compositions of remarkable psychological intensity, where the familiar becomes quietly disquieting. Jeewi Lee’s Silent Flame (2025) series explores the material qualities of hanji and tree resin, creating luminous surfaces through processes of layering, translucency and accumulation. Works by Jioong Kang, including Greetings First by the Superior (2024), bring together photography, textile, leather and tidal mud sediment in layered compositions where photographic images are continuously reconfigured through processes of transfer, layering and material transformation.

The presentation leaves space for multiple readings, allowing relationships to emerge through the encounter between works that differ in medium, material and historical context.
