The concept started in Los Angeles. Depressions of the streets and highways were molded and then
casted using a new type of resin and related colors, specially designed for the creative industries. The work captures everyday history between two biopolitical levels – the road as the surface of the work and the wall as an architectural phenomenon. They give the history a physical form, expose it, and make it visible. The newer series, “industrials”, reproduce the surface of architectural and domestic structures that were deformed in time. The sculptures materialize everyday life including work, free time, and the effects of natural events, bringing into view a foundation of the modern
industrial age: streets and architecture. Series of molds were made in Los Angeles, Berlin, Vienna, Paris, Bonn, Munich, Athens, Shenzhen and Hong Kong.
